How you can own your own house

You will be able to register and submit your application in a simple way on the nshp.gov.ng portal.

All applicants will be subject to a competitive qualification process that will be fair and transparent.

Eligible homeowners will contribute to their homes while waiting for delivery.


Who is eligible to stay in NSHP.GOV.NG?

To own a home, you must meet the following criteria when opening the application:


Become a Nigerian citizen

Age should be more than 18 years.

Have a valid national identity card.

You will then need to complete your profile by submitting your personal details, housing preferences (the house you are applying for), etc.

Show reliable earnings


How long will it take me to get the allotment?

Once the list of beneficiaries for a particular place with land/place is finalized, the allotment of that place can begin.
